
Dr. Victoria Blankman grew up in Plattsmouth, NE and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She then went on to pursue her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After completing medical school, she moved to North Carolina where she completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at East Carolina University. During her residency she did research on how socioeconomic factors can impact maternal morbidity.
Dr. Blankman has special interest in high-risk obstetrics and navigating the many challenges pregnancy can present. She also has a special interest in adolescent gynecology and vaginal surgery. She values forming long-term relationships with her patients based on mutual trust that serve each patient’s unique individual needs. She strongly believes in shared decision making and respecting patients’ beliefs and autonomy. Personally, Dr. Blankman enjoys reading fantasy novels, pilates, collecting house plants, and spending time with her husband and very rambunctious husky.
